The Room 28 Educational Project is supported by the NPO Room 28. It is a group of friends who support the project with the "Girls of Room 28" in various ways and share the values, tasks and goals laid down in the statutes of our organization. its main mission is to convey the "legacy of the Girls of Room 28" to younger generations and lead it into the future.

Room 28 Projects
There are still four websites related to the Room 28 project of Remembrance. There are reasons for this. In 2005 I named all publications, activities and projects with and about "The Girls of Room 28" Room 28 Projects, the name also stands for the management connected with promoting and organizing the book and exhibition and projects that evolved from it. The name is a registered brand.
Over the years an educational project developed almost by itself. Then, in 2014, I started the publication series: Edition Room 28.
In order to support thee project with and about "The Girls of Room 28" the organization
Room 28 e.V. was founded in 2007. All these branches have a common mission: to tell the story of the "Girls of Room 28". It's a story of the importance of art, culture, creativity and humanity in an inhuman time.

Room 28 e.V.
In 2007 a circle of friends founded the association Room 28 e. V. This was necessary to receive financial support for all projects evolving from it and for our aim. I've been on the board of the association since 2008 and manage and implement all projects with and about "The Girls from Room 28", the last one being, in 2021-2022, the project "Jewish identity. This was part of the German programme 2021 - 1700 years of Jewish life in Germany. In the first few years, our association consisted of members who supported the project ideally through their membership. Recently (from 2019) the association is in transformation. We have new committed members, especially from the educational and artistic fields. New partnerships are emerging, especially with schools
Edition Room 28
In 2014 I published the entire authentic diary of Helga Pollak-Kinsky. Thus the publishing branch of Room 28 Projects came to life: Edition Room 28 and with it the corresponding website. In 2016, the autobiography of Evelina Merová followed. I also published the Compendiums on the Room 28 Educational Project - German, English, Czech - as well as my theatre-play. Further publications are in the works. They are all part of the overall Room 28 Projects.
Room 28 Education
The website you are on aims to create a forum for the Room 28 Educational Project and serves as a platform for information, dialogue and, in the future, also for download of educational materials. The website is still in an early phase. Therefore, I convey here what the educational project is all about and what pedagogical and humanistic power it holds.
I am still creating the website myself. The plan is that one day this will be done by an educational team. It is intendend that the association Room 28 e.V. becomes the supporting association of the educational project. However, preconditions must be created.
